On behalf of all the HSHS St. Mary’s Hospital colleagues, we want to thank our local emergency responders and celebrate National Emergency Medical Services Week.
The St. Mary’s emergency care team is so blessed to be a small part of what Decatur and our surrounding communities are doing to respond to emergencies. We want to be sure to recognize all of the paramedics, emergency medical technicians, first responders, dispatchers, emergency nurses, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, as well as all of the fire and rescue personnel.
Whether the emergency responder is a career professional or a volunteer, we appreciate the dedication it takes to serve your community. Often emergency providers sacrifices go unnoticed but the team at St. Mary’s wants you to know that we thank you for all that you do.
Please join us in thanking these every day heroes during EMS week, May 21-27. They are an extremely valuable part of our community.
