DECATUR -- David Eugene Fulk, 62, of Decatur, passed away Friday, October 6, 2017, with his parents at his side after fighting a brave battle with brain cancer.
David was born July 30, 1955 in Decatur, a son of Jesse and Dorothy (Hensley) Fulk. He is survived by his parents, Jesse and Dorothy Fulk of Maroa; son, Todd Fulk of Decatur; 2 grandchildren; sisters: Carol Ann Gasaway and Linda Kay (Jeff) Windlan of Decatur; niece, Christal (Andre) Johnson; nephews: Aaron Hackney and Ryan Hunt; great-nephews: Andre Johnson and Diohn Johnson; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
David was preceded in death by his baby sister, Connie Lynn; nephew, Jason Windlan; Grandma Riley, Grandma Durbin, Grandpa Alva Hensley and Grandpa Clyde Fulk.
Services to celebrate David’s life will be 11 am, Saturday, October 14, 2017, in Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home concluding with the “Flight Home” ceremony; visitation will be one-hour prior in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to DMH Hospice or Cancer Care, Decatur.
The family would like to thank Decatur Manor and DMH Hospice for their loving care of David.
David loved his family very much. He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him.
