After Cat, she worked a lot of places as a cleaning lady, including Philips Gas Works, Hickory Point Bank, North Fork Museum, and the Sewing Factory. Sam worked in the cleaning department at Exxcel, then on the floor in assembly on second shift. She then worked at Cash Valve for 3 years until they sold out, and then worked at Climate Control until she retired at the age of 62.
