FORSYTH -- Judith "Judy" Lee Pflum, 69, of Forsyth, passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017, at Memorial Medical Center, with her family by her side.
Judy was born February 17, 1948, in Mattoon, IL, to Lynn and Norma Lou (Strohl) Reynolds. She graduated from Thorton Fractional South High School. She married Donald E. Pflum on March 23, 1968, in Florence, Alabama. He passed away September 28, 2013. Judy loved arts and crafts, reading, traveling, the Beatles, Chicago Cubs, Illini Sports, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. She always put herself at the bottom of the list to make sure the ones that she loved were always on top. She loved her family to the "end of counting." Judy was always the family's soft place to fall.
She is survived by her son, Brian (Toni) Pflum of Bartonville, IL; her daughter, Kelly (Fiancé, Jacob Williams) Pflum of Decatur, IL; her grandchildren, McKenzie, Ethan, Roger and Emily; her brother, Mark (Brenda) Reynolds of Decatur, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Judy Pflum will be 2 p.m. Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home with Rev. John Burnette, officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family to be designated later.
