DECATUR — Doris June (McKinney) Streeval, age 88, passed away at Decatur Memorial Hospital on Saturday (Jan. 26, 2013).

A service to celebrate June’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 31, 2013) at Dawson & Wikoff North Chapel. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown, IL. Memorial contributions may be directed to Northwest Christian Church.

June was born in Witt, IL the daughter of William and Florence (Govaia) McKinney. She married William Streeval in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1985. June worked for General Electric for 15 years, retiring as a quality control analyst. She was proud to be a cancer survivor for many years.

She leaves a son: Greg (Debbi) Streeval of Boody, IL; daughter: Diana (Jack) Keller of Decatur, IL; granddaughters: Cindy (Bill) Keller Ward, Cheri (David) Duensing and Samantha (Brad) Knackmuhs; great grandchildren: Steffanie and Michael Bezruki, Jack and Daniel Duensing and Kennedi Knackmuhs. She also leaves a special friend: Ed Golik.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers: Claude, Earl and Ralph and sister: Wilma Wells.

Grandma “June” and Aunt “June” will be missed by many. She loved basketball (Bulls and Illini), softball and her family.
