ASSUMPTION — Albert E. “Ab” Tintori, 83, died August 1, 2012 (9:33 a.m.) in Memorial Medical Center, Springfield.
Services will at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Assumption with Fr. Don Wolford and Fr. Rodney Schwartz officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012, in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Oconee, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Assumption or Knights of Columbus.
Albert was born on July 9, 1929 in Moweaqua, IL, the son of Angelo P. and Minnie (Bolora) Tintori.
He Married Alice P. Hoehn on April 14, 1952 in Oconee, IL. She is surviving.
Albert was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Assumption, and the Knights of Columbus. He worked as a millwright at Wagner Castings, Decatur, IL. Albert loved crappie fishing and spending time on Pana Lake.
Surviving are wife, Alice, sons James, and wife Catherine Tintori of Rochester, IL; Robert, and wife Elaine Tintori of Springfield, IL; Michael, and wife Sharon Tintori of Moweaqua, IL.; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; James and Angelo, and three sisters; Mary, Helen, and Evelyn.
