FORSYTH — Donald Lee Warnick, 71, of Forsyth died Thursday, December 13, 2012 (7:30am) in Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, December 15, 2012 in First Christian Church, Moweaqua.
Visitation will be 10:00 am until service time.
Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Moweaqua.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ambassadors for Christ P.O. Box 3343, Decatur, IL 62524.
Don was born August 26, 1941 in Decatur, IL the son of Marion Paul and Dorothy Iona (Purviance) Warnick. He married Patricia A. Beeson in Moweaqua September 26, 1959.
Don was the owner of Sattley’s Office Supplies and a member of First Christian Church of Moweaqua.
Surviving are his mother; wife Pat; son Don Warnick of Springfield, IL; daughter Debbie and husband Mike Potsick of Moweaqua; grandsons Aaron and wife Janet Potsick of Moweaqua, Seth Potsick of Moweaqua; great-grandchildren Izzy, Roxy and Jonah all of Moweaqua; brother Jim and wife Jean Warnick of St. Augustine, FL; mother-in law Peggy Beeson of Decatur, IL and best friend Merle Bolt.
Preceding him in death are his father and son Michael E. Warnick.
Don loved playing poker with friends and telling jokes. He also loved his family, “his” Pat and his Lord.
