MOUNT ZION — Nicholas “Cole” James Young, infant son of Ryan and Jennifer (James) Young of Peoria was stillborn at 2:36 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Surviving are his parents of Peoria; three sisters, Carlee, Bella, and Abby Mae, all at home; maternal grandparents, Gary and Julia James of Monmouth, Ill.; paternal grandparents, Steven and Ruth Young of Mt. Zion, Ill., Kent and Carole Brooker of Mt. Pulaski, Ill.; paternal great grandparents, Freda Frazee of New Port Richey, Fla., Kenneth and Dorothy Brooker of Mt. Pulaski, Ill.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Peoria with Fr. Tony Labedis O.F.M. Conv. and Deacon Joe LaHood officiating. There will be no visitation.

Knapp-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Morton assisted the family with arrangements.

The family would prefer memorial donations be made in Nicholas’ honor to the Children’s Hospital of Illinois or Holy Family Catholic School.
