Angelic mission: Mother turns grief into action, spreading the seat belt gospel
Herald & Review/Kelly J. Huff
Vickie Mally otherwise known as the "Seatbelt Angel" has started a campaign in conjunction with the Macon County Sheriff's Department, to get people to buckle up. Mally's daughter Charity was killed in an automobile accident and didn't have her seatbelt on. She will be riding with deputies like Sgt. Bill Hotwick to offer pamphlets about her daughter's story to those stopped for not wearing the seatbelt.
