DECATUR – Police said five bullets were fired into a Decatur home sometime Tuesday night or early Wednesday.

A 59-year-old woman living at the house in the 300 block of East Division Street called-in to report the damage.

Patrol officers found a bullet hole through the front door with a spent bullet lying on the living room floor, said Detective Sgt. Chris Copeland. He said there were also two bullet holes in the home's siding, a hole shot through one of the support posts of the front porch and another bullet hole through the front door frame.

No one was injured and police have no suspect information.
