DECATUR — Police in Decatur said Sunday they had seized the school-issued computer being used by a 16-year-old student because it contained an explicit video featuring an underage boy and girl.

Sgt. Josh Sheets said the MacBook computer was taken from the Eisenhower High School student Thursday morning. Police had been alerted by a staff member who had been checking the computer because she suspected it might show footage of a fight that had occurred at school.

Sheets said the student who was using the computer, who has not been charged with any offense, said the video had been sent to him and he didn't remember who had sent it. He also told police he knew the identity of the 16-year-old girl in the video but not the boy, and that neither of them are Eisenhower students. Police investigations are continuing.
