MOUNT PULASKI — The city of Mount Pulaski is under a boil order until further notice due to a positive bacteria sampling, officials said Tuesday.

Matt Presswood, superintendent for water and sewers, said the boil order is a precautionary measure and the city's water supply was retested Tuesday afternoon. The samples were sent to a private laboratory for testing, he said.

Presswood expects to receive the new sample results by Wednesday.
