DECATUR — A persistent shoplifter targeted the same Decatur store four times within six days, according to police.

Sgt. Josh Sheets said the Family Dollar store at 876 W. Grand Ave. was visited by the suspect on Monday, Oct. 16, then again on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. When an employee who had caught the man stealing previously saw him back in the store Saturday evening, he checked video surveillance which showed the man hiding two deodorant sticks and three bottles of body wash in his pockets and down the front of his pants before walking out.

The suspect is described as black, aged 25-35, 5-feet-8-inches tall, 150 pounds, with a goatee beard and buzz hair cut. He was wearing all black clothing Saturday, and appears to have worn the same clothes each time he stole from the store.
