WINDSOR — A Shelby County woman won $1 million from a scratch-off lottery ticket, according to the Illinois Lottery.

Lisa Doss plans to invest the money, which she opted to take in a lump sum of $600,000, the lottery said in a news release.

Doss won the prize playing the $300,000,000 Cash Spectacular scratch-off game.

“I was so shocked when I saw the prize amount, I started shaking and I couldn’t speak!” Doss said.

Previously, Doss won two $1,000 prizes from the game, which costs $10 to play.

The winning ticket was sold at the EK Petro Mart, located at 1520 Kentucky Ave., in Windsor. The business received $10,000, 1 percent of the overall prize, for selling the winning ticket.
