I have read and heard so many negative things said about these new houses that were built on Macon Street. What happened to neighborhood revitalization? What has happened to people talking about people taking back their neighborhoods from gangs, crime and violence? There are still good people and homeowners that live in this Macon Street. area that would love to see this neighborhood revitalized again. There is nothing wrong with urban renewal.
For those of you who say they wouldn't live here, even if it was free, more power to you. If you have no solutions to the problems, stay where you are. Keep your negative comments to yourself. Not every inner city neighborhood has to be decimated and destroyed, because not everybody shares your negative views and we will not allow that to happen.
