DECATUR — A late flurry by former Stephen Decatur and Illinois State star Tarise Bryson helped the Old Dogs hold off the Young Bucks 

96-91 at Saturday’s ESPN Decatur Legends Night in the Sky game.

Bryson scored seven of his 11 points in the final three minutes to give the Old Dogs a cushion in a game that was close throughout.

The Old Dogs had a balanced scoring attack led by former MacArthur and Chicago State star Corley Lee and Stephen Decatur/South Dakota State alum Marquis Richardson, each with 16 points. Richardson was named MVP. Also for the Old Dogs, Monty Wilson Sr. had 12 points.

The Young Bucks were led by MacArthur grad and current Georgetown, Ky., player Monty Wilson Jr. with 24 points. MacArthur grad and current Carthage College player Kiston Lee had 12.

In the All-Star/Celebrity game, Decatur Christian’s Michael Houran had 14 to lead the Blue team to an

81-71 win against the White team.
