JACKSONVILLE -- The Millikin women returned from their holiday break and found their shooting stroke as they had four players reach double figures as they overpowered Illinois College 85-67 on the road Saturday. 

The Big Blue were led by Devin Curry's career-high 28 points which included 6 for 9 shooting from behind the 3-point line. 

"It was good coming off the Christmas break to get a win today over at Illinois College and we were very balanced again with four kids in double figures," Millikin coach Lori Kerans said. "Emily Schultz had 17 points and 11 rebounds, recording a double double. Freshman Jordan Hildebrand was 5-5 from the field on her way with 15 points in just 14 minutes of play."

Yanni Saddler also had 12 points and nine rebounds for the Big Blue. 

Millikin shot 52 percent from the field while holding Illinois College to 38 percent. The Big Blue were hot from three going 11-24 from three-point range. Millikin also won the rebounding battle 44-30.

Illinois College's top scorer was Brielle Greenleaf with 30 points.

Millikin is now 5-6 while Illinois College goes to 3-8. The Big Blue return to action on Sunday playing at Monmouth College.
