MACON — Seven race divisions are in action tonight at Macon Speedway headlined by the Midwest Big Ten UMP Super Late Models.

In addition to the Super Late Models, also racing will be Billingsley Elite Wash UMP Modifieds, UMP B-Mods, UMP Street Stocks, UMP Hornets, POWRi LucasOil DII Midgets and KidModz.

It’s also CEFCU Kids’ Castle Night with a bounce house and race car rides at intermission. A Late Model race simulator will also be on site for fans to try. The fan who sets the fast time will win $50.

And it’s Church Night with the Faster Pastor race. Competing will be Rick Spangler from Decatur’s Glad Tidings, Randell Garrett from Decatur’s First General Baptist, Steve House from Decatur’s Temple Baptist, Rod Hite from Moweaqua’s Destiny Fellowship, Ed Cain from Clinton’s New Life Community Church, Brandon Chappel from Macon’s Faith Life Family Church and Dr. Ellen Moma from First Christian Church of Blue Mound. Dr. Moma will also deliver the blessing of the cars.

Pit gates open at 4, grandstands at 5. Hot laps being at 6 and racing will begin at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults. Children age 11 and under are admitted free.
