There will be a Pre Bid meeting scheduled for March 4, 2021 @ 1:30 (P.M.) local time at the Sanitary District of Decatur office, 501 Dipper Lane. Project site tours will be available. The proposed improvements generally consist of removal and replacement of concrete sludge inlets, reinforcement installation & shotcrete application. Complete Digital Project Contract Documents, Specification and Plans are available for a non-refundable fee of $15.00 by going to QuestCDN - and entering Quest Project #7516117 on the website's project search page. Paper copies of Contract Documents, Specifications and Plans are available for examination at no cost at the Sanitary District of Decatur, 501 S Dipper Lane, Decatur IL 62522. The general prevailing rate of wages in the locality for each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform such work, also the general prevailing rate for legal holiday and overtime work, as ascertained by the public body or by the Department of Labor shall be paid for each craft or type of worker needed to execute the contract or to perform such work. A copy of the most recent Illinois Department of Labor Prevailing Wages for Macon County available is included therein. The said Sanitary District of Decatur reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in bidding.
