The Baby Fold is now hiring:
Family Therapist

The Family Therapist is responsible for assessing and providing voluntary services to Central
Illinois families formed through adoption and subsidized guardianship. Services include inhome assessments, crisis and other therapeutic interventions, education, training, support
groups, respite, advocacy and referrals to community services.

School Nurse - RN

The RN provides health care support and education for students at Hammitt Elementary School
and contributes health care expertise to the interdisciplinary team.

Special Education TTeacher,, LBS-1

Hammitt Schools serve students, grades K-12, with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities
and/or autism. The Teacher Therapist is the lead classroom teacher, responsible for planning,
coordinating, and implementing the assigned classroom program. Additionally, the teacher
therapist provides classroom leadership and works in cooperation with assigned classroom
staff.

Child Welfare
elfare Specialist (Foster Care)

The Child Welfare Specialist is responsible for providing case management services to children
and families served by The Baby Fold’s foster care program. Oversees the initial placement of
children, maintains safety and welfare of placements, evaluates progress on service plans, and
provides permanency planning, reunification and/or other permanency services, and related
documentation and report writing.

Intact Family Services Caseworker

The Intact Family Services Caseworker is responsible for providing family-based intervention
and family preservation services to families who are open intact family cases referred by the
Bloomington Field Office of the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services.

Case Assistant

The Case Assistant works with Child Welfare Specialists and Supervisors to provide
supervision, transportation, advocacy and support for children and families served by
The Baby Fold’s foster care programs.

eacher Therapist Assistant
Teacher

The Teacher Therapist Assistant assists the Teacher Therapist and other classroom/support
staff in providing a comprehensive, trauma-informed education and behavioral program
for students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities and/or autism. Classroom
assignments may vary based on program needs to include academic, physical education,
fine arts, and/or technology settings.

Program Assistant

The Program Assistant assists the Teacher Therapist and other classroom/support staff
in providing a comprehensive education and behavioral program for students with severe
emotional/behavioral disabilities and/or autism. Also assists with behavioral intervention,
supervising classroom activities collecting data, organizing materials, and implementing
strategies consistent with the social learning model of the program.

Individual Student Aide, part-time

The Individual Student Aide works one-on-one with a student with severe emotional/behavioral
disabilities and/or autism to implement the assigned duties on the student’s Individual
Education Program; works with the lead teacher and other classroom/support staff to provide
a comprehensive education and behavioral program for the assigned student; assists in
collecting data, organizing materials, and implementing strategies consistent with the social
learning model of the school programs.

eaching Assistant
Substitute Teaching

Currently seeking teaching assistants to assist in classrooms as needed for our elementary
and junior-senior high schools, working either with students with autism and other severe
developmental disabilities or students with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities.
