Illinois became the 11th state to legalize recreational marijuana beginning
January, 2020. The facts are clear, allowing the sale of marijuana can
have dramatic negative impacts on our community. Decatur can join the
growing number of communities across the nation that are ‘opting out’
of allowing recreational marijuana sales within the city limits.
