POWER SERVICES COORDINATOR The state’s largest municipal electric power supplier seeks a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual familiar with the utility industry to join its Operations team. Responsibilities include forecasting/scheduling/ monitoring of electric loads, communication with various power entities, and accurate record keeping. Very strong analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Excel, good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. Normal work hours will be based upon rotating 12-hour work shifts, including nights and weekends. The Illinois Municipal Electric Agency is responsible for wholesale electric supply to 32 municipal electric utilities throughout the State. IMEA’s state of the art headquarters are located in Springfield, Illinois, has a peak load of nearly 1,000 MW and an annual budget of over $350M per year. Qualifications: 1. High School diploma or G.E.D. 2. Basic analytical and mathematical skills to include algebra. 3. Ability to work independently, multi task and work well in a team oriented environment.
