DECATUR – The Boys and Girls Club of Decatur is pleased to announce two additions to its leadership team.

Johnathan Fluker is the club's new program director. Johnathan Boey is the club's new athletic director. Both are Decatur natives and graduates of MacArthur High School.

Fluker, who obtained a degree in urban studies and theology from Elmhurst College, will oversee the day-to-day operations of the club’s membership, programs and staffing.

Boey, who obtained a degree in kinesiology and sports studies from Eastern Illinois University, will oversee all athletic programs offered at the club while focusing on healthy lifestyles for youth.

“We are happy to have these awesome gentlemen, both with deep ties to the Decatur community, on board,” Executive Director Bruce Jeffery said.

The mission of the Boys and Girls Club is to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring responsible citizens. It does this by providing a safe place to learn and grow; ongoing relationships with caring, adult professionals; life enhancing programs and learning opportunities; and hope and opportunity.
