May, Cocagne and King acquire Bloomington-based accounting firm

DECATUR – May, Cocagne and King, P.C., (MCK) a Decatur-based accounting and consulting firm, has acquired Sulaski & Webb CPAs, a Bloomington-based accounting firm. Mary Ann Webb and Dawn Carlson, both partners with Sulaski & Webb, will remain as partners in MCK’s Bloomington office, and continue to lead their stellar team of professionals.

Andy Thomas, managing partner of MCK, announced the merger which was effective Nov. 1.

"We feel this is an excellent match for our accounting practices. Mary Ann and Dawn are outstanding professionals with a strong reputation and an established track record of success, and we found that our firms share common values of quality and personal service.

This merger will allow an expanded service menu, while keeping the local points-of-contact and exceptional client service to which clients have become accustomed".

MCK has been serving clients across Macon and Piatt counties from its Decatur and Monticello offices since 1970.

The firm offers a wide array of services including tax planning and preparation, auditing, bookkeeping, estate planning, and retirement planning, as well as technology consulting, sales and service.
