DECATUR -- Blake Wallace, branch manager at Staley Credit Union, has been recognized by Credit Union Magazine as one of its 2018 Credit Union Rock Stars.
“Blake’s outstanding achievements stood out to us as an inspiration that other credit union professionals could learn from,” said Ann Hayes Peterson, vice president of publishing at The Credit Union National Association. “We received so many wonderful nominations this year, but Blake’s story was one we knew we had to tell.”

Those nominating Wallace made note of his spearheading Staley's participation the community's food drive, his work with Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Greater Decatur Black Chamber of Commerce, as well as his community outreach related to financial literacy.
