SPRINGFIELD — Reba McEntire will play the Illinois State Fair this year, it was announced Thursday.
She'll close out the fair's concert series on Sunday, Aug. 18.
McEntire last played the State Fair in 1999.
She has won 16 ACM Awards, 15 American Music Awards, nine People’s Choice Awards, six CMA Awards, three Grammy Awards, and a GMA Dove Award. She will release her 29th studio album, “Stronger Than the Truth,” on April 5 and then host the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 8.
Opening for McEntire will be singer Rachel Wammack.
Tickets are $35-$65.
