LAST WEEK: Pana beat Vandalia 34-28; Hillsboro beat Litchfield 51-8.
LAST MEETING: Pana won 40-0 in 2013.
KEYS TO THE GAME: Two South Central teams seem to be about as evenly matched as can be as they fight for a spot in the playoffs. Either should be good as far as playoff points if they can get that fifth win. Pana is being outscored this season 30.6 to 28.8 while Hillsboro is giving up 30.8 points per game compared to scoring 30.0 points per game. Both teams have picked up three of their four wins against Staunton, Gillespie and Litchfield. And both have 36 playoff points heading into tonight.
Pana has won two straight after losing three in a row. Paul Rhodes has been hard to stop, picking up 580 yards during the past four weeks (145 ypg). For Hillsboro, Gavin Twitty has the hot hand. He ran for 253 yards (220 by halftime) this past week against Litchfield and went for 255 the week before against Gillespie. But the Hiltoppers have four who are capable of carrying the ball for big yards.
