SPRINGFIELD — A winning Illinois Lottery ticket worth $650,000 was sold last week.
Lottery officials said Monday the Fas Mart at 506 E. Elm St. in Gillespie sold the winning ticket to Saturday night's Lucky Day Lotto drawing. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn -- 1, 24, 28, 35 and 36.
The winner has yet to come forward, the lottery said Monday morning. The winner is advised to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit a lottery prize center in Springfield or one of four other locations around the state.
The Fas Mart receives a bonus of $6,500, or 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
