DECATUR — Two Decatur men were arrested Tuesday morning after Decatur police officers said cocaine and guns were found in a house at the 1000 block of East Wood Street.

Police in a sworn affidavit said they conducted a search warrant at the house and a man inside told them where the drugs were. They found plastic baggies with 36 grams of cocaine and about 14 grams of methamphetamine in the form of pills, police said. 

The affidavit said they also found  a loaded Smith & Wesson handgun and a Ruger handgun with ammunition inserted between couch cushions where a 19-year-old man was sitting. Two grams of cocaine were in the man's pockets, police said. 

He faces preliminary charges of armed violence and unlawful possession of a controlled substance 1-15 grams.

The other man, 25, has preliminary charges of manufacturing/delivering 15-100 grams of cocaine and possession of 15-100 grams of cocaine

Preliminary charges are subject to review by the State's Attorney's Office. Both men being held at the Macon County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.
