DECATUR — A 35-year-old man was arrested after busting out the glass of a Decatur storefront Friday night, police say.

Sgt. Steve Carroll said around 10 p.m., the suspect showed up to the hospital with injuries to his hands. The man told police he broke out the windows of the Decatur Bicycle Shoppe, 1230 E. Pershing Rd.

Carroll and the shop owner confirmed the man was known to the business, which was open Saturday. An estimate of the cost of damage was not yet reported. Bond information for the suspect was not available Saturday afternoon.
