DECATUR — Police said a 24-year-man arrived to Decatur Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg Tuesday afternoon.

Sgt. Adam Jahraus said the man came to the hospital's emergency room at about 12:40 p.m. He said the man was "completely uncooperative" with officers at the hospital, so police did not have any information about potential suspects or a location of the shooting Tuesday evening.

"Without a cooperative victim, an investigation can grind to a halt," Jahraus said.

Jauraus said the man's injury was not considered to be life-threatening.
