DECATUR – Decatur Police continued their search late Sunday for the armed robber who held up Domino's Pizza, 1948 E. Eldorado St.

Sgt. Dan Wise said, according to preliminary information, that a male subject with a handkerchief covering his face entered the store around 1 a.m. Sunday and threatened staff with a handgun . The subject them fled the scene in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of cash.

Police responded and stationed themselves from Jasper Street east to the restaurant, in areas between Eldorado Street and the nearby rail yard, in an effort to locate the suspect, who was not found. The suspect is described as black, aged in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6-foot-1-inches tall, 180 to 200 pounds, wearing all dark clothing.  

Wise said there were no reports of employees being injured.
