VANDALIA – Jeffrey A. DeLong has been named an associate judge of the 4th Judicial Circuit.
Chief Judge Kimberly G. Koester said the circuit judges selected DeLong to replace Amanda Ade-Harlow, who was elected resident circuit judge of Shelby County in November.
DeLong received his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University in Normal, and his juris doctor from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. DeLong is affiliated with Lawinger, DeLong & Jacob LLC in Vandalia.
The 4th Judicial Circuit consists of Christian, Clay, Clinton, Effingham, Fayette, Jasper, Marion, Montgomery and Shelby counties.
