DECATUR — The Decatur school district on Wednesday posted its latest offer to the union representing teaching assistants.

The documents outline health benefits, salaries and other offers made by the district to the Decatur Federation of Teaching Assistants.

The union has 275 teaching assistants, hearing interpreters, licensed practical nurses and hearing-vision technicians.

The union has been working with the district on a new contract. The current agreement expired June 30. The two sides last met Monday, and the documents were posted on the district website Wednesday.

The next meeting with mediators is scheduled for Oct. 15.
