DECATUR — All delinquent real estate property taxes from the 2017 tax year must be received by the Macon County Treasurer’s Office no later than the end of the day Friday, Nov. 16, according to Treasurer Ed Yoder.
These taxes must be paid with cash, certified bank check or credit card in the treasurer’s office. Online real estate property tax payments are not accepted.
Any unpaid property taxes will go to tax sale on Monday, Nov. 19. For more information, call the treasurer’s office at (217) 424-1426.
