DECATUR — Meteorologists at the National Weather Service are warning Central Illinois residents Wednesday's wind chills could bring temperatures down into the single digits.

Throughout the day and until Thursday morning, the blustery northwest winds may gust up to 29 mph.

According to the weather service, a storm system will bring snow to the area Friday night and Saturday. "Odds are increasing of at least a few inches of snow falling during this time," the site stated.
