LINCOLN — Habitat for Humanity of Logan County says they will no longer be able to accept recyclable electronics and other materials as they have on the second Saturday of the month at the group’s warehouse. HFH affiliate president Bill Sahs says the company servicing the Lincoln facility has said they will no longer make pick ups there, and says the board is working to secure another collection service. Sahs says recycling has been a revenue generator for the not-for-profit, whose purpose is building homes alongside future homeowners.
In the meanwhile, HFHLC will continue to accept aluminum and scrap metals. For information or to offer alternative services, call Bill Sahs at (217) 737-0346 or Bob Chamberlain at (217) 732-2449.
