DECATUR — The Park District has released its list of admission fees for the new Splash Cove​ in Nelson Park.

Prices will be:

  • $8 for children 4-12
  • $10 for 13-64
  • $9 for 65 and older
  • Ages 3 and under will be free with a paid adult.

The swim season starts May 23.

The new facility, which includes multiple water slides and features, is along U.S. 36 next to the Overlook Adventure complex, which includes miniature golf, a ropes course and two restaurants. It's part of the park district's long-term lakefront development plan, which aims to transform the Nelson Park area into a hub for recreation that could attract regional visitors as well as providing a range of activities for residents. ​

Season passes go on sale May 1 at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center, 1295 W. Wood St.

Prices are:

Youth (4-12): $150

Adult (13-64): $175

Senior (65 and over): $150

Family of 2: $225

Family of 3: $275

Family of 4-6 or more: $300
