Emergency personnel were on the scene of a fire at Helmuth Custom Kitchens cabinet manufacturing shop in Arthur on Friday. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire. 

ARTHUR — Firefighters are still on the scene of a Helmuth Custom Kitchens cabinet manufacturing shop in Arthur that was destroyed by a fire early this morning.

Arthur Fire Chief Chris Helton said they were called to the scene at 2004 County Road 1800E south of Arthur at 4:30 a.m. and found the structure engulfed in flames.

Helton said personnel from seven other fire departments were ultimately brought in to fight the fire, which was contained to the manufacturing shop. No injuries were reported, he said.

Helton said pallets of wood within the collapsed structure are continuing to burn. The cause of the fire was not immediately available.
