DECATUR — A Decatur woman’s home was broken into Thursday while she was at the store, police said.
The woman left her house in the 1800 block of East Cantrell Street about noon, Decatur police detective Sgt. Steve Carroll said. The victim said all the doors and windows were locked when she left. When she returned home, she noticed her side door had been forced open, Carroll said.
She reported Xbox games, money and some jewelry was stolen. Her home was ransacked during the incident, Carroll said.
The burglary is under investigation, and there are no suspects at this time, Carroll said.
