DECATUR — Decatur police are investigating a report of two wallets being stolen from a house in the 1000 block of North College Street.

The male victim called police Thursday about the Oct. 3 incident, detective Sgt. Steve Carroll said.

The man told police the wallets were taken from his kitchen counter while he was taking out the trash about noon that day. Money, identification and other personal information were inside the wallet, police said.
