DECATUR — Police say no one was injured Friday after a car struck a Christmas wreath display outside of the Fairview Plaza Kroger, 1401 W. King St.

Sgt. Shawn Guenther said the crash happened at 10:50 a.m. after the car's driver experienced a medical emergency while behind the wheel, and rolled into the store's front display. He could not specify the nature of the medical emergency on Friday evening. She was taken to a hospital for treatment.

The car was undamaged and did not strike the grocery store itself. The display in front was minimally damaged and cleaned up by employees later in the day.
