DECATUR— Two men are facing non-life threatening injuries and five firearms were recovered after a Friday afternoon shooting in the 900 block of West View Street, police said Monday.

One male victim was at the scene when Decatur police officers arrived at 1:15 p.m., Sgt. Steve Carroll said. The other victim checked into the hospital just minutes later.

Carroll said residents at one home in the 900 block of West View gave police permission to search their home, and officers recovered a firearm and ammunition. Police executed a search warrant at a home in the same block and recovered four firearms and multiple rounds of ammunition.

Carroll said there are no suspects in the shooting at this time, and the investigation continues.
