DECATUR — Carolyn Sue Fulk, 74, of Decatur, IL, passed away Friday, July 12, 2019.
Sue was born August 31, 1944, in Decatur, the daughter of William Henry and Bertha Mae (Ewing) Flesch. An avid Cubs fan, Sue worked as a waitress at Country Cupboard and Downtown Café for many years. She married Jan Alexander and they had six children. Sue then married James A. Fulk on March 29, 1988, and he preceded her in death on April 3, 2009.
Sue always cherished Sunday dinners and holidays with her family.
Surviving are her children: Angie Cooper, Becky Alexander, Jeff Alexander, Rhonda (Kelsie) Keller, Christy Alexander, Lanny Alexander, and Brandon Vandenburg, all of Decatur, and Summer (Zach) Young of KY; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson, Zachary.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 pm, Monday, July 15, 2019, at Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Services to celebrate her life will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
