DECATUR — Gordon J. Gulliford, 92, of Decatur, passed away on July 9, 2019 at his residence.
Gordon was born in Bement on August 6, 1926 a son of Gordon D. and Hazel (Webb) Gulliford. He married Gloria Varner on July 17, 1965 in Decatur, IL, she survives. Other survivors include three sons: Todd Brittenham of Decatur, Tom Brittenham of Bement and Tony Brittenham of Decatur; five grandchildren: Morgan, Ryan, Casey, Ted and Katy; three great-grandchildren: Noah, Cayden and YI. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son: Michael Gulliford; two sisters Dorothy Strohl and Wilma Lyons; one brother Bob Gulliford.

Gordon served our country as a rifleman during World War II. He was a member of Albert Parker American Legion Post 620 in Bement for 72 years.
Private family inurnment will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Bement Cemetery in Bement, military rites by Bement American Legion post 620.
