DECATUR -- Terry E. Hundley, 64, of Decatur formerly of Warrensburg passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
Services will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Warrensburg United Methodist Church with a Celebration of Life gathering and meal at 4:00 p.m. at the Sportsman's Club. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Warrensburg United Methodist Church or the Sportsman's Club.
Terry was born in Decatur, IL on September 28, 1953 to the great parents of Ranald M. & Ruth E. Hundley. He attended Warrensburg-Latham schools graduating in 1971. He went on to graduate from Blackburn College in 1975 with a degree in Biology. Terry was a retired farmer, electrician, township road worker and Illini Cemetery caretaker. In the 1980's Terry was a little league coach and helped to found the local youth league serving as president for the first four years. He was also a co-leader with the United Methodist youth helping with numerous youth mission trips.Terry married Melody Wilderman on August 10, 1990. He was a member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church, Warrensburg Sportsman's Club and a retired member of the Warrensburg Fire Department.
Terry is survived by his wife: Melody Hundley of Decatur; children: Heath Hundley of Decatur and Wesley Flory of Argenta; mother: Ruth Hundley of Decatur; brother: Keith (Luisa) Hundley of Forsyth; sister: Angie (Mike) Markus of Decatur, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
