DECATUR — Robert L Rosetto 89, went home to his savior Jesus on May 31, 2019.

He was born in Decatur, son of Victor J and Grace Sunderlik Rosetto. He has two sisters Wanda Babb, Levada Daniels. Three brothers, Richard Rosetto, Victor Rosetto Jr and Leo Cox, Jr preceded him in death.

He was an Army Veteran in Okinawa Japan during the Korean War. He married Norma Drake in 1953. She preceded him in death November 2008. He worked 33 years at Borg Warner and then Decatur Climate Control.

He leaves behind one daughter Vicki Jo Mackey (Marvin), grandchildren John Adam Tate (Jennifer) of Cornland, Amanda Tate of Ohio, Thomas Moore (Courtney) of Sun Prairie Wisconsin, Melissa Wiedel (Chris) Decatur, and J.Brent Moore of Charleston South Carolina. He also leaves behind 12 great-grands. Two daughters Carri Tate, and Cynthia Rosetto are deceased.

He was a volunteer firefighter in Niantic and was a member of the Niantic Methodist Church. Bob was well known for his ability to fix just about anything or at least try. Quick with a joke he often said laughter is the best medicine.

Memorial Service will be held at Niantic Methodist Church on June 15 at 10:30 am with family lunch following. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy or Niantic Methodist Church.
