DECATUR -- Dale E. Rorabaugh, 83, of Decatur, passed away November 8 at Generations at McKinley Place. Mr. Rorabaugh was born December 2, 1934, in Akron, Ohio, the son of Murray and Hazel (Schwann) Rorabaugh. He married Muriel Greene in 1957; she preceded him in death in 1996. In 1999, Dale married Jeanette Schultz.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, November 12, at Brintlinger and Earl Funeral Home, Decatur. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.

Mr. Rorabaugh worked for A B Dick Office Systems for over forty years. He was later employed as a guard by Dunbar Armored. Dale enjoyed SCUBA diving, classic cars, and bowling, and had been in senior leagues at both Playmor and Spare Time Lanes. Dale was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Dale is survived by his wife, Jeanette; three children: Laura (Peter) of Roseville, CA; Sandra (Gary) Garrison of Stagecoach, NV; and Daniel of Diamond Springs, CA; three grandchildren, Garrison Libis, Rebecca Libis, and James Garrison, a niece, Jodie (David) Curtis of Hartville, OH, two stepchildren and five step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Cherie Collins.
Dale was a kind and gentle man, a loving and encouraging father, a faithful Christian, and the kind of man who served his wife breakfast in bed every morning.
