It was quite funny to read in the news earlier this month that Betsy Londrigan promised to refuse corporate PAC money while running for Congress. Even though she lost in the midterms, she took money from outside groups last year. She even outspent her opponent, Congressman Davis, last year.
In the fall of 2018, Londrigan accepted over $180,000 in coordinated ads from the Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) against Davis. We all know the DCCC is at least indirectly corporate funded. If she really is about a grassroots campaign, she shouldn’t accept these funds from the DCCC this election cycle. This attempt by Londrigan shows she is pandering for votes and is not honest with voters.
