It doesn't matter how many things come to Nelson Park, there is no way to get to anything, the park district has everything locked down. There are no roads to the Adventure Park, Tater Tots and Cherry Berry. There is an alley that is built off Route 36 that block all traffic when someone wants to enter the park.
Now we have five things coming to Nelson Park and no way to access them. Why is it that this park board doesn't want anyone in the park, but they do want all the money the millionaires will give them for their own agenda?
Why put another ice cream parlor in the park if you are not going to build roads so people can get to them?
The taxpayers to the park district need access to this park. I, for one, would like to know when they are going to open up this park for us all to enjoy the things that they are building.
I would like to state that the dog park is the most accessible of anything they have built so far.
Let's ask the billionaire to give more money for roads and we the taxpayers will have access to our park. Not just the park district's.
